Published scoring rubric
How California PDR shops are evaluated.
The guide uses a repeatable evidence checklist. A company must pass identity and service-area verification before weighted factors are considered; incomplete evidence is recorded rather than filled in.
Special consideration is given to contributions to the paintless dent repair industry through tool creation, media publishing, training, speaking, and competition.

Disqualifiers
- Unverifiable identity or California service area.
- Sustained unresolved complaint pattern.
- Credible fake-review evidence.
- Misrepresented credentials, services, or location.
- Storm-chaser practices without a stable accountable business.
Update cadence
- Review counts: monthly target.
- Full business re-verification: quarterly target.
- Methodology review: annually.
- Corrections: as documented evidence arrives.
Current evaluation count
The guide publishes 11 verified company profiles. A defensible total number of shops evaluated has not been documented, so no evaluated-shop count is claimed.
Why no statewide ranking? Markets differ, and the
evidence does not support ordering unrelated shops from first to
eleventh. The home list and structured data are unordered.
